FORA Ketone Control Solutions contain a known amount of β-Ketone that can react with FORA 6 Connect β-Ketone test strips.
You should perform a control solution test if you experience one or more of the following conditions:
- You suspect the meter or test strips are not working properly.
- You have dropped or think you may have damaged the meter.
- Your blood ketone test results are not consistent with how you feel, or if you think the results are not accurate
You can check the performance of the meter and test strips by comparing the control solution results with the range printed on the label of the test strip package. Checking these regularly can ensure your test results are accurate.

It was a real pain to place my order. My ordered was cancelled. I called tseveral times to find out what went wrong in the afternoon nobody answered after several attemps because the promotion code didn't work.
The pouch of the kit is very flimsy and offers no protection against if the metert falls off the table and it will not last. It's also to small to hold the strips container.
I ditch it and I found a waterproof case big enough to hold the strips. if someone stepp on it by accident. it's also strong enough to resit a fall the table.
The meeter is easy to use works very well. I give it 5 star, customer, 2 stars, I cannot give more than 2 stars because of the useless pouch
