I have been eating the ketogenic way since the end of March 2025, and I test my glucose and ketones regularly. Because 70% of my calorie intake comes from fat, I thought I’d better test my cholesterol every 2-3 months. This is a great way to do it quickly without having to make ann appointment with my doctor, then going for a blood test. It gives me a ballpark figure of where I stand as it tests total cholesterol ( not LDL, HLD and triglycerides) specifically. I am pleased that this option is available.

These strips i find expensive which wouldnt be a problem but sometimes they doesn't absorb blood well so strip is wasted. Each strip equals $5-6, so very frustrating when this happens. It seems to be the strip because I have used them a lot and still get occasional failures. Otherwise the testing and experience is very good so 4 stars.
